The New 2007 Volvo S40 and V50 Sportwagon
Volvo's two best-selling models in 2006, the S40 saloon and V50 Sportwagon, receive refreshing exterior and interior design accents to enhance their dynamism and safety.
The Volvo S40 is a compact that appeals for its bold-Volvo style, solid workmanship, and versatility. S40s are equipped with a 5-cyl engine and are available in 2.4i and T5 trim. The 2.4i models make 168 hp and are front-wheel drive. T5s are turbocharged, make 218 hp, and are front- or all-wheel drive. Manual or automatic transmission is available. ABS, traction control, front side airbags and curtain side airbags are standard.
The Volvo V50 is a solid, capable small wagon. A full sweep of safety features come standard, and all-wheel drive is available. The wagon gets a 2.4-liter 5-cylinder engine, 5-speed automatic transmission with manual-shift capability and traction control. ABS, traction control, front side airbags and curtain side airbags are standard.
